Field Trips
Field trips require a separate registration process. You can review the field trip descriptions here.
On-Campus Lodging
The deadline to register for on-campus lodging has passed. Lodging information is still listed below for reference. Please contact Auriel Fournier (auriel@illinois.edu) with any questions.
If you will be bringing a car, you can find information about parking on the LMU campus here.
Two on-campus housing options are available for conference participants: traditional dorm rooms and suite-style rooms (see descriptions and rates below). During registration, participants can indicate their roommate preferences either specifically (by name) or if they have roommate match needs.
Traditional Dorm Rooms: Each room has two single beds, two desks, and two dressers. Bathroom facilities are shared across multiple rooms. There are two gendered restrooms on each floor and resident hall. Each restroom has multiple toilet stalls as well as shower stalls with a curtain (curtained changing area with every shower stall). Traditional dorm rooms can be booked as either a single (one person per room) or double (two people per room). These dorms also have various community spaces (study rooms and lounges) that may be used by residents. See here for more details on an example of this type of dormitory.
Suite-style Rooms: Each bedroom has two single beds, two desks, and two dressers. Bathroom facilities are semi-private and shared across a two-bedroom suite. These rooms can be booked as either a single (one person per bedroom) or double (two people per bedroom) but note that bathrooms are still shared across the suite. These dorms also have various community spaces (study rooms and lounges) that may be used by residents. See here for more details on an example of this type of dormitory.
Each person will be provided with a biodegradable linen package for their stay, which includes sheets, pillow and pillow case, thin comforter, and bath towel (mandatory $22.80 fee per stay). Attendees should plan on bringing all needed toiletries, including hand soap. It should be noted that these housing options are not air conditioned, but temperatures for this June conference are expected to be comfortable (highs in the low- to mid-seventies).
Housing Costs (excluding per-stay linen fee):
| Room Style | Double Room Occupancy | Single Room Occupancy |
| Traditional dorm | $71.25 per night | $142.50 per night |
| Suite | $77.52 per night | $155.33 per night |
